Pre-Departure Orientation

Semester/Full Year Programs:

Orientation for study abroad consists of two mandatory elements:

1. General Orientation Online
2. Site-specific Orientation (Schedule)

General Orientation Online:

All semester and full-year students will be required to complete the general online orientation that provides critical information about logistics, procedures, cultural information and academic information from deans. A link to the general orientation is available on the Applicant Homepage after nominations are issued.  Nominated students should visit this site to begin completing this and other requirements by the specified OIP deadline.

Site-Specific Orientation:

All semester and full-year students will be required to attend a site-specific orientation. Site-specific orientations cover important logistical items such as: health and safety, academics, housing, and also provide students with the opportunity to speak with returnees from their specific region.
